Housekeeper –‘A master of various skills.’

Location: Nurtured Childcare - Broomhill

10-15 hours per week (Monday-Friday)

We are looking for a special someone, to join our nursery family. We have high standards & want our nurseries to look truly fabulous. No toxic chemicals are used here, our environmentally friendly cleaning alternatives provide a sustainable approach, and reduce chemical exposure!

It goes without saying that you must have a love for the little people too, we may require your support from time to time. We take pride in supporting one another, so we all try to ‘muck in,’ pardon the pun’

List of duties:

o Day to day cleaning

o Monthly deep cleans

o Dusting & polishing

o Sweeping, moping & hoovering

o Laundry management

o Correct storage of materials and products

o Stock control & management

Key skills & Qualities:

o A great communicator

o Trustworthy, for key holder responsibilities

o Hardworking & energetic to get the job done

o Flexibility & helpful nature, a real team player

Essentials:

o Clear criminal record and willingness to complete a DBS check

o Experience in using elbow grease in abundance

o Meticulous in high standards of cleanliness & hygiene

o Ability to loan work

We are super flexible: we don’t mind if this is before nursery opens (the floor needs to be dry by 7am) or alternatively, after 5.45pm.
